The screen is embedded in an oval-shaped, tough ABS plastic shell that's easily gripped and cushioned by a protective rubber frame. When fully charged by the included AC adapter, the D1420 has a battery life of approximately 2.5 hours. In addition to DVD movie discs, it's also compatible with music CDs and CD-R/RW discs burned with your favorite mixes (in either CD or MP3 format). Other features include a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio for watching movies in the format they were made to be watched, built-in stereo speakers, and an AV (RCA) out connection for connecting to a TV.
